Welcome! How can we help you?
İstanbul Bağcılarour central clinic
Merkez Mahallesi 675. Sokak No: 1-7/A-B, 34203 Bağcılar/İstanbul, Turkey
Our clinic is on 675. Sokak in Merkez Mahallesi, by Bağcılar Meydanı — walking distance from the metro exit and easy to reach by public transport from anywhere in the district.
Opening hours: Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00. Call or message us on WhatsApp to book; if you prefer to write, a short description of your complaint is enough and we will find a time together.
The examination, panoramic X-ray and written treatment plan cost nothing. None of the three commits you to anything; you can take the plan away and consider it.
Getting Here
The clinic is very close to Bağcılar Meydanı; whichever way you travel, the last stretch is a short walk.
- Metro. Bağcılar Meydan station, then a few minutes on foot towards the square.
- Tram. The Bağcılar line; get off at the square and walk.
- Bus and minibus. Every route through Bağcılar Meydanı leaves you within walking distance.
- By car. There are paid car parks around the square; street parking can be difficult at busy times.
- From the airport. İstanbul Airport connects by metro, or you can come directly by car.
If you need directions, call us — we will guide you from wherever you are. A directions link and map are further down this page.
If you are travelling from outside the district or from another city, we schedule appointments to fall on the same day where possible — mention it when you call. For anything needing impressions and lab work, our in-house laboratory reduces the number of visits.
If it is your first visit and you have trouble finding us, call from the door and we will come out to meet you.
Booking an Appointment
There are three ways and all of them reach the same diary.
- WhatsApp. The fastest. Write a short description of your complaint and we will send available times.
- Phone. During opening hours.
- Contact form. At the bottom of this page — your name, a phone number and a short note is enough and we will come back to you.
Telling us three things helps us plan the appointment properly: what the complaint is, how long it has been going on, and whether you are in pain. If there is pain or swelling we bring the appointment forward.
A full first assessment — examination, X-ray and going through the plan — can take forty-five minutes. Don't book it into a slot you have to rush out of; having time to ask questions makes a real difference.
If you cannot make your appointment, just let us know; there is no fee or penalty. A cancellation we hear about frees the slot for someone waiting.
What Happens at the First Appointment
Uncertainty is the most common reason people put off booking, so here is what happens.
- Registration and medical history. Medication, systemic conditions, allergies and pregnancy where relevant.
- Examination. All teeth, the gums, the bite and existing restorations.
- Panoramic X-ray. Decay you cannot see, bone levels, impacted teeth.
- Periodontal measurement. A numerical assessment of gum health.
- Discussion. The findings are explained and your questions answered.
- Written plan. What will be done to which tooth, why, and the alternatives.
Treatment is not usually carried out at the first appointment — unless there is pain or an emergency. The aim is to see the picture clearly first. If you are in pain, something is done that day to relieve it.
Worth bringing: a list of your medication (supplements included), any previous X-rays and records, and ID.
For children the first appointment is mostly about getting acquainted, with treatment planned for a second visit if needed. That is not lost time; it is what makes every later appointment easy.
In an Emergency
What to do in a dental emergency depends on what the emergency is.
During opening hours (monday–saturday 09:00–19:00): call or message us on WhatsApp. For pain, swelling, a broken tooth or a knocked-out tooth we try to fit you in the same day.
Outside those hours: write on WhatsApp; we reply as soon as we see the message and open the first slot the following day. Meanwhile, see our toothache guide for what you can do at home.
Do not wait for us in the following situations — go to the nearest emergency department: difficulty swallowing or breathing; swelling spreading towards the eye, the floor of the mouth or the neck; fever alongside spreading swelling; bleeding that does not stop after twenty minutes of continuous pressure; signs of head injury. These are measured in hours and are not managed by a dental appointment — tell us afterwards.
A permanent tooth knocked out completely is a special case: hold it by the crown, not the root, bring it in cold milk, and go to wherever you can reach fastest.
Coming From Another City or Country
Some of our patients come from outside the district, outside İstanbul and from abroad. Planning works differently for them.
Preliminary assessment. Before you travel, we assess photos and any X-rays you send on WhatsApp. This is not a definitive plan — no definitive plan is given without an examination — but it gives you a realistic idea of how many days to allow.
Grouped appointments. Impression, try-in and fit are scheduled on consecutive days where possible. Our in-house laboratory is what makes that work: an adjustment found at try-in is made the same day, so no extra visit is needed.
An honest picture of timing. Crown and bridge work can be completed in a few days. Implants require two separate visits because of bone integration; we do not offer a plan that finishes it in one, because biology does not allow it.
Afterwards. You can still reach us once you are home — send follow-up photos on WhatsApp and ask questions. The lifetime guarantee does not depend on distance.
We can point you towards accommodation and transfers; let's discuss the detail when you call.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I come without an appointment?
You can, but you may have to wait because booked patients come first. If you are in pain, come anyway — patients in pain are seen the same day. Calling first keeps the waiting down.
Is there a charge for the examination?
No. The examination, the panoramic X-ray and a written treatment plan cost nothing, with no conditions. You can take the plan home, consider it and show it to another dentist.
What are your opening hours?
Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00. We are closed on Sundays. Outside those hours you can message us on WhatsApp; we reply as soon as we see it and open the first slot the following day.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call us during opening hours; we try to fit pain, swelling and broken teeth in the same day. But if there is difficulty swallowing or breathing, spreading swelling, fever or bleeding that will not stop, do not wait for us — go to the nearest emergency department.
How do I get to the clinic?
Merkez Mahallesi 675. Sokak No: 1-7/A-B, Bağcılar. Walking distance from Bağcılar Meydan metro station; tram, bus and minibus routes all stop at the square. There are paid car parks nearby.
How long does the first appointment take?
A full first assessment — examination, panoramic X-ray, periodontal measurement and going through the plan — can take forty-five minutes. We suggest not booking it into a slot you have to rush out of.
Is treatment done at the first appointment?
Not usually, unless there is pain or an emergency; the aim is to see the picture clearly and discuss the plan together first. If you are in pain, something is done that day to relieve it.
I'm travelling in — can appointments be grouped?
Yes — mention it when you call. Impression, try-in and fit are scheduled on consecutive days where possible. Because our laboratory is in the building, adjustments found at try-in are made the same day, so fewer visits are needed.
